In the video I give practical demonstrations of how these shortcuts work and when I use them. That being said, as with anything you do, the more you do it the easier it is to remember. Of course there are quite a few of these windows and the key commands of some of the less frequently used ones will be harder to remember, that is why I advise you to print a list of these and keep it near to your workstation area.
Being able to instantly open or close each of these windows with a simple key command is an absolute must as this only speeds up your workflow and improves your outcomes. Now as you become more familiar with the LPX DAW you will find that there are certain windows you will be needing to access very often in order to edit, select or shape sounds and events.
Audio Editor (formerly the Sample Editor Window).Historically there have always been quite a number of windows which one needed to access in order to make full use of the incredible functionality of this DAW. Things are quite different however when working in Logic Pro X. In Ableton Live everything is again compacted down to 2 windows, namely the Arrangement View and Session View.
In Pro Tools you essentially have 2 windows the Edit Window and the Mixer Window.
